Kyle Kuzma is staying with the Washington Wizards after agreeing to a lucrative new contract on Friday, and no one seems happier than the man himself.
Shortly after agreeing to a four-year, $102 million deal with Washington, Kuzma took to social media to fire up Wizards nation.
DC let’s turn this ship around!! May take time but I'm committed you guys and turning the city up!!

Kuzma played the patient game waiting for his big payday, cashing in three years after signing a three-year, $40 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.
The 27-year-old posted a career year 2022-23 and appears to be on an upward trajectory. Last season, Kuzma averaged a career-high 21.2 points with 7.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists through 64 games.
Furthermore, according to ESPN Stats and Info, Kuzma had 10 games with 30 or more points, the most during his six-year NBA career.
If the Wizards are to become a contender in the Eastern Conference, Kuzma will have to be a significant part of it, but it won't be an easy task. Washington has finished below .500 in three of the last four seasons and qualified for the postseason only once since 2018.
Kuzma will now team up with the Wizards' newest acquisition, guard Jordan Poole. Whether or not the duo of Kuzma and Poole will help the Wizards improve upon last season's 35-47 finish remains to be seen.
